Off the beaten path. The campground is perfect for someone who likes true camping. There is a little road noise, but there is also noise from the big rushing creek. The trails are well maintained. The sites are spacious and well layed out. Great river rock walls and steps. A lot of work went into creating this campground. The bathhouse is clean. The creek/river, the hiking trail, the overlook, the proximity to Max Patch and Hot Springs is all fantastic. A portion of the campground is closed due to budget cuts, but the beauty of this small campground is well worth the trip. I want everyone to give this campground a chance because it could close completely. The host Art is a kind man who really cares about the future of this campground. He goes above and beyond to make this a special place.

Rocky Bluff is a sweet little spot to camp. It's just a few minutes up the road from Hot Springs, and has a nice little loop trail that takes you down to the river. The camp site looks like it's right out of the 50's. Gorgeous stonework at each site and decent amount of privacy between sites. I found the restrooms to be just fine. The fee is only $8 a night, first come first served. Highly recommend.

Love Hiking here! Seeing Creek Nature trail is A MUST!!!

Beautiful secluded area. Nice trails and picnic areas

Alright place. Tucked in the valleys of the mountains and quite secluded on the weekdays, despite campsites being very close together. Each site has a pit, picnic table and tent area. No showers, but the restrooms were very clean and fully stocked (women's, anyway...) No star or sunrise/sunset views and had notably loud traffic day/night. Only $8/night though, can't go wrong there.
